Paul Smith

Paul Smith is an experienced professional in the automotive industry with a strong background in product development and design. Currently serving as the New Product Development Manager at CT Automotive since June 2020, Paul specializes in the design and development of interior automotive components, particularly mechanical parts. Prior to this role, Paul was the Project Director and Mechanism Product Development Lead at Novares Group from February 2012 to April 2020, overseeing a team responsible for automotive interior components such as air vents and cup holders. Paul began their career as a Design Engineer at Summit Polymers from January 2003 to December 2011, focusing on automotive air vent design. Paul holds a Journeyman Tool and Die Mold Maker degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, earned between 1984 and 1989.
