Emily Canto has extensive experience in higher education and career counseling, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor and Career Counselor at Middlesex Community College since July 1998. Prior to this role, Emily was the Assistant Director of Career Services at the University of Hartford from 1989 to 1998 and worked at the University of Rhode Island as a Resident Director and Volunteer Career Advisor from 1988 to June 1989. Earlier in the career, Emily held the position of Resident Director at Bryant University from August 1985 to June 1988. Emily holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Counseling from the University of New Hampshire (1983-1984) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (1979-1983).
