Karl M. has extensive experience in information security and compliance. Karl served as the SVP & Chief Information Security Officer at CTBC Bank Corp. (USA) from 2015, overseeing the development and maturity of their Information Security Program. Prior to that, they were the Director of Global Information Security & CISO at Westfield from 2014 to 2015, where they developed and improved the security risk program and implemented various core security solutions. Karl became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in June 2008 and achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in August 2007. Karl further acquired the PCI-QSA certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in 2008 and the PCI-ISA certification at an unspecified time in 2010. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Cloud Security Knowledge certification from the Cloud Security Alliance in November 2016, and they became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) through ISACA in January 2018.
