William P. Shiao

William P. Shiao has an extensive work experience in the financial industry. WILLIAM P. is currently serving as the Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer at CTBC Bank Corp. (USA) since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Credit Administration at Pacific Premier Bank from 2021 to 2022 and Senior Vice President & Credit Administrator at Citizens Business Bank from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining these organizations, William worked at East West Bank as the Senior Vice President, Credit Policy, Governance, and Analytics from 2018 to 2019. WILLIAM P. also gained valuable experience at Toyota North America as the Managing Director, Risk Management for Toyota Financial Services from 2014 to 2018, and at Toyota Financial Services International Corporation as the Group Executive, Risk Management and Commercial Credit from 2010 to 2014.

Prior to their time at Toyota, William held various roles at Toyota North America, including Managing Director, Commercial Lending & Special Assets, and Senior Director, Commercial Credit from 2004 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at Wells Fargo as a Senior Vice President & Portfolio Director from 1999 to 2003, at CIT as a Vice President & Portfolio Manager from 1995 to 1999, and at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as a Credit Officer from 1993 to 1995.

William P. Shiao has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. WILLIAM P. also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition to their formal education, Shiao has obtained certifications in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross and Predictive Analytics from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. WILLIAM P. has also been awarded the Operational Excellence Award - Kaizen Coach from Toyota North America.
