Ian Albert Chua

Ian Albert Chua has a diverse and extensive work history in the banking industry. Ian Albert currently holds the position of Vice President at CTBC Bank Philippines, where they are responsible for formulating parameterized credit policy and procedures for SMEs. Prior to this role, Ian worked at BDO Unibank as a SAVP and Team Head for SME Loans, where they played a key role in process improvement and designing financial templates for SME, Home, and Auto Loans. Ian also has experience working at Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) in various roles, including AVP and Head of Financial Institutions and Senior Manager in Corporate Finance, where they managed correspondent banking relationships and handled multi-billion peso syndicated loans. Before that, they worked at MUFG as Manager of Corporate Banking in the Automotive Sector, Standard Chartered Bank as an Assistant Manager in Consumer Banking, and HSBC Commercial Banking as an Assistant Manager in Commercial Banking. Ian began their career at Planters Development Bank as an Account Officer for SME Loans, where they maintained and developed client relationships.

Ian Albert Chua completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of the Philippines in the years 1997 to 2002. Ian Albert then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St.Gallen during 2009 to 2010.
