Suhara Wijewardane

Suhara Wijewardane is currently serving as an Associate External Relations and Protocol Officer at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) since February 2024. Prior to this role, Suhara worked as a Policy Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland, specializing in Disarmament and Non-Proliferation from November 2021 to February 2024. Previous experiences include positions as a Junior Project Manager at World Data Lab, an intern at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and a Communications Intern at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. Suhara holds a Master of Public Policy from McGill University, completed in July 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution, earned in 2018. Additionally, foundational education was completed at Stevenson School between 2011 and 2015.
