Ben Akbarian

Ben Akbarian is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and project management across various industries, including aerospace and automotive. Currently serving as the Global Plant Engineering Manager at CTC Global since February 2017, Ben oversees projects involving ACCC conductors for energy transmission across over 800 initiatives in more than 50 countries. Previously, Ben held positions at GKN Aerospace, managing industrialization projects for major aircraft manufacturers and overseeing processes valued at $50 million for complex titanium structures. With a background in manufacturing engineering management at Thermal Dynamics Corporation and Calsonic Kansei Corporation, Ben has a proven record in launching new products, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining customer approvals. Ben holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Michigan University.
