Marcus Korsgren

Marcus Korsgren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marcus is currently working at CTEK, where they hold the position of Global Director Strategy & Communication. Marcus is responsible for the company's strategy and communication work, including M&A, sustainability, IT, and investor relations. Marcus is also a member of the group's executive management team. Prior to this role, Marcus worked as the Head of ESG at CTEK, driving the company's ESG agenda and involved in various special projects. Marcus was also a part of the team that delivered the company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Nasdaq Stockholm. Before joining CTEK, Marcus worked as a Business Consultant at TietoEVRY, where they focused on developing Sweden's forest industry through digitalization. Marcus started their professional journey as a Management Trainee at Pilotfish Networks AB, where they led a project aiming to review the company's strategy for partnership programs. Marcus also gained experience at Chalmers Studentkår Promotion, where they served as the Head of Marketing and led a team to promote companies and employers for Chalmers students. Marcus has also worked as a Sales Service Coordinator at CellMark, handling international trade with cardboard paper. In addition, Marcus has held positions at HHGS Handels Rekrytering AB as a Project Leader, at Stora Enso as a Marketing Coordinator, and at Hinz Försäljnings AB as a Warranty Handler. Overall, Marcus has a strong background in strategy, communication, ESG, and project management across various industries.

Marcus Korsgren completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg from 2015 to 2018. Marcus then pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Management of Growing Enterprises from the same institution from 2018 to 2019.
