Avonne Bell

Avonne Bell is the Director of Connected Life at CTIA. Previously, they were an Associate at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where they specialized in technology and telecommunications legal matters. Prior to that, they were a Legal Fellow at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where they conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on a range of statutory and regulatory interpretation matters before the Commission, including spectrum incentive auctions and open internet. Avonne has also interned at Google and T-Mobile in their communications policy and law departments.

Avonne Bell graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with Info Technology. Avonne then went on to get their M.S. in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Finally, they got their Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Telecommunications and IP Law from The George Washington University Law School.
