Cristiano Calvi

Cristiano Calvi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management within the social and fair trade sectors. Currently serving as CEO and President of Altromercato since November 2016, Calvi also holds positions as Project Manager and Director at La Bottega Solidale since December 1995. Previous roles include serving on the Ethical Committee at RINA Certification and as Supervisory Board member at AgroFair. Between 2009 and 2012, Calvi was actively involved as a member of the Standard Setting Committee for Fair Flowers Fair Plants and managed the Public Procurement Office for CTM Altromercato from 1998 to 2012, overseeing numerous public tenders aimed at promoting sustainable public consumption. Calvi's early career includes experience as a National Sales Manager at Asia Trading Co. and a founding director at Associazione la Bottega Solidale Onlus. Calvi's academic background includes studies at Università degli Studi di Genova.
