Laura Duarte

Laura Duarte is a skilled QC Specialist I currently working at CTMC, a joint venture with MD Anderson Cancer Center, since August 2022. Laura's expertise includes performing functionality assays, microbial and sterility testing, as well as coordinating environmental monitoring for manufacturing operations. Previously, Laura held roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a QC Environmental Monitoring Technician and at the CDC Foundation as a Microbiologist II, where significant contributions were made in processing COVID-19 samples and leading microbiological teams. Laura's early career includes microbiological work at A & B Labs and laboratory technician roles at the University of Houston, complemented by experience in patient care and academic tutoring, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Houston.
