Corey Welford has extensive experience in public affairs, communications, and strategic advisory roles. Corey served as the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications at CTP, where they managed media relations and government relations efforts for clients. Prior to that, they were the Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where they advised Attorneys General Maura Healey and Martha Coakley and directed the office's strategic public agenda. Corey also served as the Chief Strategist for Martha Coakley's re-election campaign and as a Senior Advisor at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. In addition, Corey Welford worked as a Communications Strategist for Martha Coakley's Senate campaign, as the Communications Director and Chief Policy Advisor at the Middlesex District Attorney's office, and as a Press Secretary at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Corey started their career as a Marketing and Public Relations Account Executive at CTP.

Corey Welford attended the College of the Holy Cross from 1991 to 1995 and earned a Bachelor's degree in History.
