Mike Backe

Mike Backe has extensive experience in materials management, supply chain, and project management within the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently retired, Mike has served as a Materials Manager at CTS Corporation since April 2017 and as an ISC Manager at Honeywell Aerospace since 2002, where responsibilities included managing a Repair and Overhaul team that generated over $3M in annual revenue and overseeing critical material projects. Previous roles at Honeywell also encompassed subcontract management and project management for the C-5 AMP program. Mike Backe holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, earned between 1977 and 1981.
