Beth Macdonell is a skilled video journalist and reporter with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently working at CTV News since July 2013. Macdonell reports breaking news, covers events, and investigates issues for CTV News at Six, while also pitching, producing, writing, and voicing daily items. Prior to CTV News, Macdonell served as a reporter-editor at CBC/Radio-Canada, where responsibilities included reporting and presenting news for the Here and Now newscast. Previous roles include reporting, writing, and producing for various organizations such as Gleaner Community Press, Discovery Channel Canada, and Rogers Communications. Macdonell holds a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Humber College and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from McGill University.
