Jon Woodward is a multiple award-winning reporter for CTV News, where tenure began in January 2008. Previous experience includes instructing Data Journalism and Research at Langara College from September 2016 to December 2020 and teaching Investigative Techniques at BCIT from September 2012 to April 2014. Notable work as an associate producer on "The Pig Farm" involved in-depth investigations into a notorious serial killer. Earlier roles include reporter positions at The Vancouver Sun and The Globe and Mail, as well as freelance reporting for various reputable news outlets. Jon's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The University of British Columbia, complemented by high school studies at Strathcona Tweedsmuir School.
