Mike Boothman

Mike Boothman is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as Managing Producer at CTV BARRIE since June 2011, Mike oversees a 30-member team and manages all newscasting functions while allocating story assignments. Previous roles include Producer/Line-Up Editor at CTV News from 2007 to 2011, where Mike coordinated story scheduling and logistics, and Anchor from 2001 to 2007, responsible for delivering daily newscasts. Mike's career began as a Field Reporter at Global News from 1994 to 2001, covering significant events across various regions. Mike holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology, completed in 1989.
