Natalie van Rooy is a journalism professor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where Natalie has been teaching part-time since May 2023. With extensive experience in broadcasting, Natalie has worked as a multi-skilled journalist for CTV News since February 2016, holding roles as a reporter and videographer across various regions including Ottawa, Kitchener, and Northern Ontario. Previously, Natalie served as an assignment coordinator and editorial assistant at Global News in Toronto, managing news operations and producing content. Additional roles include freelance writing, reporting internships in Rwanda, and various production positions across several media organizations. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Journalism Combined Honours in Law and Broadcast Journalism from Carleton University.
