Joe Bechler

Joe Bechler has over 28 years of work experience in the IT industry. Joe started their career as a Hardware Technician at Computer Systems in 1993, where they repaired personal computers and provided technical support. In 1999, they joined Waterloo Industries, Inc. as a Hardware Technician III, responsible for delivering hardware services and providing training and support to end users. Joe then transitioned to the role of Network Technician II, where they worked on network design and met service level agreements.

In 2008, Joe became a Network Administrator at The Master Lock Company, where they participated in long-term planning for information systems and communication networks. Joe also collaborated with executive management and department leaders to assess network and systems capacity needs.

In 2011, Joe joined The CBE Group, Inc. as an Infrastructure Analyst, where they played a key role in system upgrades and migrations. Joe designed and maintained virtual infrastructure across two locations, migrated critical applications, and built virtual desktop infrastructure. Joe provided guidance and knowledge to team members at all levels of IT.

Currently, Joe is working at Co-op Solutions as a Systems Engineer Lead. Their responsibilities include leading a team of system engineers and overseeing the design and implementation of systems. The end dates for their roles at Co-op Solutions and The CBE Group, Inc. are not provided.

Joe Bechler attended Hawkeye Community College from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Network Administration. Joe then continued their education at Hawkeye Community College from 2001 to 2002, earning an Associate's degree in General Technology with a focus on Network Administration. In 2012, Joe also obtained a certification as a VMware Certified Professional from VMware.
