Nick Thomson

Nick Thomson is an experienced analytics engineer currently at Cube since October 2024, with a prior role as a data scientist at Wazoku from July 2019 to October 2024. At Wazoku, Nick focused on enhancing innovation through recommender systems, data visualization, and dimensionality reduction techniques. Nick's expertise includes work as a research assistant at UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed developing a trustworthiness score for blockchain indexes and creating comprehensive ETL pipelines. Additional experience includes a research scientist role at Context Scout, concentrating on user satisfaction prediction using deep learning, and a systems engineer position at Keyfort Ltd. Nick holds a master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from UCL and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Reading.
