Hussain Shalchi

Hussain Shalchi is an accomplished legal and operations professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Cube Green Energy since October 2021, Hussain previously held significant roles at Ørsted, including Head of Strategic Joint Ventures and Senior Lead Business Developer from August 2020 to October 2021. Prior experience includes Managing Director and Global Counsel at GE Capital - Energy Financial Services from May 2015 to August 2020, and Senior Associate specializing in Infrastructure and Projects at Clifford Chance from August 2007 to April 2015. Hussain holds a Master of Laws in International Law (LL.M.i) from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from UCL.
