Ricardo Dias has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Ricardo is the founder of CUBi Energia, a company they started in 2016. Prior to that, Ricardo worked as an independent consultant at ROD Consulting from 2014 to 2019. Ricardo also co-founded Sharenergy Brasil in 2016.
In terms of their academic background, Ricardo worked as a graduate research assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2015. Ricardo was involved in the development of a lab-scale prototype for processing electronic waste and conducted research on energy flow analysis and energy audits for buildings.
Before their time at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Ricardo worked at Braskem as part of the sustainable development team from 2012 to 2014. Ricardo also had a short-term role in supply chain management at Boehringer Ingelheim in 2012.
Ricardo's career started as a student researcher at the Universidade Federal do ABC in 2010, where they focused on synthesizing palladium nanoparticles for power generation applications.
Ricardo Dias has a diverse education history in the field of sustainability and environmental engineering. Ricardo completed their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in waste management and environmental economy at the Universidade Federal do ABC from 2009 to 2014. During that time, they also pursued a Baccalaureate in Science and Technology with an emphasis in Electrochemical from 2009 to 2012 at the same institution. In 2014, Ricardo began their Master of Science in Sustainable Systems at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, in 2014 and 2015, they participated in the New York Executive Clean Energy Leadership Program at Skidmore College, focusing on clean energy leadership.
