Michael Cochrum

Michael (Brent) Cochrum is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Faculty Member - Instructor/Facilitator at Southwest CUNA Management School since August 2023. As President, CEO, and Chief Data Scientist at CUBI.PRO since February 2018, Michael oversees the delivery of data analytics products and business intelligence services to financial institutions. Additionally, Michael hosts CUTalk.Live, where insightful discussions with thought leaders in the credit union space take place. Previously, as VP of Analytics and Lending Advisory Services at CU Direct from August 2004 to February 2018, Michael enhanced credit union lending strategies through data-driven decisions. Michael's career spans various roles in organizations such as City Credit Union, Metroplex Credit Union, DataPlex, Inc., Citi, and Fifth Third Bank, emphasizing marketing, indirect lending, and credit analysis. Michael's academic credentials include an MBA from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a BS in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University.
