James Pinney

James became Head of Northern Europe after more than 6 years at Cubico, most recently as Head of Investment Oversight where he worked closely with all regional teams, the Executive Committee and the company’s shareholders on the evaluation, approval and execution of transactions. This encompassed deals across 15 countries in a variety of technologies including solar, wind, CSP and transmission.

Prior to joining Cubico, James worked in EY’s Energy Corporate Finance team, focused on buy and sell-side renewable energy M&A.

James graduated from Bristol University and is a CFA charterholder.
