Jasmin Hofstetter has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Jasmin is currently working as the Lead Engineer at CubicPV Inc. since June 2021. Prior to this, they spent several years at 1366 Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Process Engineer from March 2015 to January 2021. Jasmin also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they conducted research on the impact of high-temperature processing on materials and device performance in the field of solar cells. Jasmin was involved in managing research projects and characterizing defects in solar-cell materials using synchrotron X-ray nanoprobes. Before MIT, Jasmin worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Researcher at the Instituto de Energía Solar - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, focusing on phosphorus-diffusion gettering and developing programming codes. Jasmin also gained experience as a Graduate Researcher at Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin.

Jasmin Hofstetter has an extensive education history. Jasmin started their academic journey at The Philipp University of Marburg, where they earned a Vordiplom in Physik from 1999 to 2001. Jasmin then pursued their studies at Freie Universität Berlin, majoring in physics and minoring in environmental management, and obtained a Diplom-Physikerin degree from 2001 to 2006. Continuing their commitment to academic excellence, Jasmin then enrolled in Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Photovoltaic Solar Energy from 2006 to 2011.
