Jason Rusten has a long and varied work experience. In 2004, they founded Rusten ESL Consulting in Taipei, Taiwan and worked as a private ESL instructor. Jason also worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher at Sunrise Academy in Taipei, Taiwan from 2004-2005. In 2005, they were a Research Consultant at Univenture Management Consulting Corporation in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2007, they were a Production Technician at EarthWalk Communications. In 2009, they were a CIBER Consultant at Carving Craft, Inc. and a Summer Intern at Robert H. Smith School of Business. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, first as an Associate and then as a Senior Consultant. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Since 2022, they have been an Advisory Director at CUCollaborate.
Jason Rusten has a diverse educational background. Jason obtained their MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2010, specializing in Supply Chain and Operations Management. Prior to that, they received a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004. In 2002, they also studied Mandarin at Zhejiang University. Additionally, Jason holds four certifications: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ (2015), Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (2012), Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. (2021), and Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute (2012).
