Marina Chen is currently the Head of Human Resources at CUCollaborate, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Professional Human Resources and Résumé Consultant for their own business from 2013 to 2022. From 1999 to 2013, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank, first as an Assistant Human Resources Relationship Manager from 1998 to 1999, then as Director and Head of Learning & Talent Development, Americas from 1999 to 2013, and finally as Director and Senior Human Resources Relationship Manager from 1999 to 2013. During their time at Standard Chartered Bank, they were responsible for designing and implementing the talent agenda to meet the strategic needs of the Americas, and restructuring 20% of the Americas workforce with zero lawsuits, resulting in over 1 million in cost savings.
Marina Chen attended Hofstra University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a BA in Psychology with minors in Business Administration and Fine Arts. Marina then attended New York University from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a MA in Psychology. In April 2003, they obtained a certification as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach from Gallup.
