Sam Brownell

Sam Brownell has had a long and varied career in the financial industry. Sam began their career in 2008 as an Intern at Callahan & Associates, eventually working their way up to Associate Vice President, Product and New Market Development, Associate Vice President, New Business, and Director, New Business. During their tenure at Callahan & Associates, they also served as an Industry Analyst, where they authored articles and hosted web seminars on financial performance, business lending, and deposit strategies for www.creditunions.com. Sam also served as a Marketing Coordinator, Software Sales. In 2009, Sam Brownell joined Lafayette Federal Credit Union as a Membership Committee Member, where they worked with credit union staff as a sounding board for the rest of the membership and discussed product pricing, membership growth strategies, and high level business strategy. In 2021, Sam Brownell became an Advisor / Investor at Credit Mountain, and in 2022, they founded Holistic. Finally, in 2014, Sam Brownell founded CUCollaborate, LLC, where they serve as the Founder & CEO.

Sam Brownell obtained a High School Diploma from Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in 2003. Sam then attended Denison University from 2004 to 2008, earning a BA in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics.
