Chris K. Achar

Chris K. Achar is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Genzum Life Sciences, a pharmaceutical research and development company specializing in complex topical and ophthalmic drug formulations. Since 2016, Achar has also been the Founder of Synergy Ventures, a family office venture fund that supports disruptive startups in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health technology sectors. As a member of YPO since 2014 and a board member of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship since 2018, Achar is actively involved in leadership and mentoring. Additionally, Achar has founded Divya Wines and serves as an investor in several companies, including HeartBeam Inc., Provention Bio, Cue Biopharma, and Pulse Biosciences, with significant investment achievements like InnoPharma's sale to Pfizer. Achar holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BBA in Business Marketing from California State University, Northridge.
