Alan Atkinson

After graduating in Law, Alan followed a career in industrial Contracting and Procurement. He worked with Flopetrol-Schlumberger (in France), GEC Marconi (in Scotland) and for over twenty years with Shell, where he also became an Internal Auditor.

Alan retired in 2011 and since 2013 has been a Magistrate. In addition to an MBA, and a postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice, he also has an MA in WW1 History.

Alan was a boarder at Culford from 1960 until 1967.
