Jane attended EAS and Culford as a boarder in the 1970s, and then went on to spend a year in the US as an English Speaking Union scholar. She then gained a BA and MPhil. English from Loughborough University.
Her initial career was spent in the Middle East, teaching English at a school set up by the Maktoum family in Dubai. This followed a return to the UK and a move into financial services, which given her maths record at Culford never fails to surprise old school colleagues! Jane has spent the last 30 years in sales, marketing, and communications; working for Salomon Inc. and then American Express. For much of her career, Jane has worked in a number of roles for Visa Inc. – the global payments company - where she currently leads client communications and thought leadership for Visa in Europe. Jane develops TED-style flagship events for Visa, ensuring stories are told, rather than a corporate agenda.
