John Ovanessian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and sales within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as General Manager of operation and sales at Peconic Bay Yacht Club for CulinArt Managed Dining Services since October 2015, Ovanessian has previously held key positions as Banquet & Conference Sales Manager at Gurney's Resorts from 2003 to 2013 and Sales Manager at Dan's Papers from 2001 to 2003. Earlier in their career, Ovanessian was a Sales Manager and Publisher Assistant at the Journal of Commerce from 1997 to 2000. Ovanessian holds a BS in Marketing from Roger Williams University, completed in 1997, and attended La Salle Military Academy from 1990 to 1993.
