Karsten Sauer

Karsten Sauer is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in preclinical research and development, currently serving as Vice President of Preclinical R&D at Cullinan Therapeutics since September 2022. Sauer also holds positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Associate Professor at The Scripps Research Institute, where significant contributions include leading research on the role of phospho-inositide 3-kinase in immune cell development, with publications in prestigious journals such as Science and Nature Immunology. Previous roles include Vice President positions at Repertoire Immune Medicines, focusing on corporate development and immunology, and Director of Cancer Immunology at Pfizer, overseeing drug discovery and development in oncology.
