Giancarlo Corzo

Giancarlo Corzo has a strong background in technology and software development. Giancarlo currently serves as the Director of Technology at Culqi since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Architect at Tekton Labs from June 2018 to June 2019 and as a Software Architect at Kontigo.pe from March 2018 to July 2018. Giancarlo also served as the Head of Development at Bend from December 2017 to May 2018.

Before these roles, Giancarlo worked at Laboratoria as a Senior Software Developer from June 2015 to December 2017. In this position, they focused on developing the API to support tech projects and providing training to junior developers. Giancarlo also worked as a Teacher in the bootcamp program, with a focus on JavaScript development.

Prior to Laboratoria, Giancarlo co-founded Puntos360 in June 2013, where they served as the CTO until April 2017. Puntos360 is a loyalty program for retail businesses that emphasizes marketing automation.

Giancarlo also worked as a Teacher at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas from January 2012 to January 2017.

Giancarlo has experience as a Lead Software Engineer at NorthSouth Studios from August 2014 to March 2015, where they analyzed web technologies, implemented responsive web interfaces, and integrated web services using J2EE technologies and open-source JavaScript libraries.

Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineering Contractor at K12 from 2006 to February 2015.

Before that, Giancarlo worked as a Software Engineer at Antares Technologies S.A.C. from April 2013 to July 2014, where they held roles as a Product Manager and Lead Engineer. Giancarlo was involved in the development and maintenance of standalone and web applications for organizations in Peru and the United States. Giancarlo utilized various technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ext JS, JQuery, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle, among others.

Giancarlo Corzo pursued their education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. From 1999 to 2004, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Software Engineering. Later, in 2007 to 2008, they attended the same university and completed a Diplomado in Marketing.
