Helmut Pacheco

Helmut Pacheco has extensive work experience in the technology sector. Their most recent role was as the CTO at Culqi, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of IT Engineering LATAM at Paysafe Group from September 2021 to September 2022. Helmut also served as the Chief Technology Officer at PagoEfectivo from January 2020 to August 2022, and as the Gerente de Tecnología from January 2019 to December 2019. Before that, they held various positions at Grupo el Comercio - Perú, including Sub Gerente de Arquitectura y Desarrollo de Software from January 2018 to December 2018 and Jefe de Tecnología from October 2014 to December 2017. Helmut also worked at Grupo El Comercio as the Jefe de Desarrollo de Software from August 2013 to October 2014 and as the Jefe de Proyectos de TI from August 2012 to August 2013. Helmut started their career at Grupo El Comercio as an Analista de Calidad de Software from December 2009 to August 2011. Helmut also worked at the Instituto de Radio y Televisión del Perú - IRTP as a Desarrollador de Aplicaciones Web from March 2009 to November 2009, at the Municipalidad de los Olivos as an Analista y Desarrollador de Sistemas from June 2007 to February 2009, and at the Gobierno Regional de Tacna as a Programador de Sistemas from May 2006 to December 2006.

Helmut Pacheco has a diverse educational background in the field of engineering and project management. Helmut began their education journey in 1998 at the Universidad Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann de Tacna, where they pursued a degree in Informática y Sistemas. Helmut completed their undergraduate program in 2004, earning the title of Ingeniero.

In 2009, Helmut enrolled in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú to pursue a Diplomatura in Gestiόn para la Calidad de Software, focusing on software quality management. Helmut successfully completed this program in 2010, further enhancing their knowledge and skills in engineering.

Seeking further professional development, Helmut pursued a Diplomado en Gerencia de Proyectos at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2012. This program focused on project management, equipping him with the necessary skills to lead and manage projects effectively. Helmut completed this diploma in 2013.
