Lina Esa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Lina co-founded CULT CREATIVE in 2020 and currently holds the position of Co-Founder. In 2021, they worked as an Editor at AM Magazine until July. Prior to that, Lina worked at Blu Inc Media, where they held the position of Editor, CLEO Malaysia from April 2016 to April 2020. During this time, they managed the editorial team, oversaw the magazine's production, and worked on various content for different platforms.

Before joining Blu Inc Media, Lina worked as a Sub-Editor at The Malaysian Women's Weekly from July 2012 to January 2015. Lina'sresponsibilities included copy-editing, managing timelines, and collaborating with the marketing team on magazine-related events.

In 2010 and 2011, Lina worked as a Legal Editor at LexisNexis - Australia. Lina was involved in the entire editorial and administrative process for textbook projects, including copy-editing, legal research, and fact-checking. Lina's contributions greatly improved the overall quality of the products and added value for customers.

Prior to their role at LexisNexis, Lina worked as an Administrative Secretary (Part Time) at Battley & Co Lawyers from August 2008 to November 2009.

Lina Esa received their primary education at SMK Seri Hartamas from 1998 to 2002. In 2003, they attended Taylor's College Melbourne, where they completed their Victorian Certificate of Education. From 2004 to 2009, Lina studied at the University of Melbourne, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Media & Communications.
