Alejandra Vallejo Marin

Alejandra is an environmental engineer from UAM and a recent MSc graduate from IPN.

She has an interdisciplinary research background in Estado de Mexico and Veracruz, focusing on landfills and waste management based on territorial and economic inequality.

Alejandra strongly believes that socio-environmental crisis is also an epistemic crisis, therefore, it is crucial to study the environment as a complex system where knowledge from different disciplines is needed.
