Manuel Piñuela

CEO at Cultivo

Manuel Piñuela is the current CEO at Cultivo. Manuel has also served as a partner at Arabesque, and as an advisor and co-founder at Drayson Technologies Ltd. Manuel completed their PhD at Imperial College London in 2013, sponsored by the National Council of Science and Technology - Mexico. Manuel also worked as a project engineer at Thermon from 2008 to 2009, and as an engineering services coordinator at Washington Division of URS from 2009 to 2010.

Manuel Piñuela has a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London. Manuel is also a Fellow in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design at Imperial College Business School and the Royal College of Art. Manuel has a BSc in Electrical Electronic Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Escuela Moderna Americana. Manuel is certified by UC Berkeley Executive Education in Venture Capital Executive Program and MIT Technology Review in MIT Innovators under 35.
