James Baker

James Baker has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. James served as the Chief Executive Officer at Cultura Technologies / Volaris Group from 2010 onwards. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Agricultural Operations at UFA Co-operative Ltd from 2008 to 2009 and Vice President Business Development from 2005 to 2007. James also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Alta Genetics Inc. in 2003 and as the Vice President Marketing from 1999 to 2002. Further, they gained valuable experience as the Marketing Director of European Division at Semex Alliance from 1989 to 1999 and Marketing Director of Latin American Division at Semex Alliance from 1986 to 1989.

James Baker attended the University of Guelph from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Animal Science. In 1984, they briefly attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSc Agr).
