Angela Louh has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a volunteer position at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2012. Angela then held a research assistant position at the Department of General Practice and Primary Health Care in the same year. In 2012, they also interned at the National Institute for Health Innovation, where they conducted physical assessments, gathered product images and nutritional data, and organized, quantified, and analyzed the results of various studies. In 2011, they were a research assistant at the Health and Disability Research Institute (HDRI) where they worked on the My Care My Call project and assisted with the preparation, organization, and execution of HDRI conferences. Angela also inputted, organized, and cleaned the data of various research studies. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a medical scribe at Fenway Community Health, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Scribe Partners. In 2017, they were a Patient Flow Coordinator/Medical Scribe at Stanford Health Care, where they supported physicians in seeing more than 12 patients a day in 6 different oncology clinics, prepared and documented office visit notes, and trained 5 new hires. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineering Flex Program at Thinkful, where they completed 9 projects by applying acquired knowledge and skills in frontend and backend web development. Angela is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Culture Biosciences.
Angela Louh is currently enrolled in a Computer Software Engineering program at Thinkful, which they began in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Physiology from Boston University in 2014. Before attending Boston University, they attended Cupertino High School from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Codecademy, such as the Learn How to Code Course and the Learn Java Course, which they obtained in June and May 2019 respectively. Angela also obtained a Human Subjects Protection Training: Social & Behavioral Focus certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) in October 2013.
