Richard Truong

Richard Truong has worked in the biotechnology field since 2011. Richard began as a Copy Chief at The California Aggie in 2011, followed by an Undergraduate Researcher role at Parales Research Group in 2012. In 2016, they took on a Senior Manufacturing Associate role at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., where they supported cell culture operations and upstream processing, monitored perfusion-based bioreactor systems, and piloted, developed, and implemented electronic shift updates. That same year, they also held a temporary Research Assistant I role at Fornia BioSolutions, Inc. In 2021, they began working as a Bioprocess Engineer at Culture Biosciences.

Richard Truong attended the University of California, Davis from 2008 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology.
