Serena Puerta's work experience starts in 1994 where they worked as a Business Analyst at A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm. Serena gained expertise in top-line growth and cost reduction strategies for Fortune 500 companies.

In 1998, they co-founded Clickonmail.com, an internet-based email platform for elementary and high school students. Serena directed the beta testing of the software with 500 student users.

In 2004, Serena founded Culture Of Fit, a global population health management company that supports cardiovascular health, musculoskeletal health, mental health, and nutrition behaviors. The company serves large global employers, member groups, and health insurance plans through onsite and digital programs.

Throughout their career, Serena has managed teams and gained expertise in various sectors such as healthcare, biotechnology, technology startups, and management consulting.

Serena Puerta received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Serena attended this institution from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, although the specific dates of their attendance are unknown.
