Anna Hughes

Anna Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Anna started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Ysgol Glan Clwyd in 2013, where they focused on developing students' Welsh language skills and analyzing exam data. In 2015, Anna worked as a Supply Teacher at Capita before moving on to Castell Alun High School as a Teacher of Design and Technology, covering a maternity leave and teaching various levels. Anna then transitioned to BURNAGE ACADEMY FOR BOYS in 2016, where they served as a Teacher of Design and Technology, developing schemes of work, managing behavior, and teaching KS3 and KS4. In 2019, Anna made a career change and joined Northcoders as a Trainee Full Stack Software Developer before becoming a Junior Developer at Foreign Currency Direct plc. Anna then worked as a Software Engineer at Well Pharmacy from 2021 to 2022. Anna's most recent role is as a Frontend Developer at Culture Shift, where they currently work.

Anna Hughes completed their BA(hons) in Textile Design for Fashion from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2010 to 2013. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they pursued a PGCE in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Chester.
