Bill Fahrbach

CFO at CultureIQ

Bill is CultureIQ’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the company’s Finance, Legal, and Operations functions, where he sets and enhances the infrastructure for the business’ strategic growth plans and supports the analytic framework for the business.

Bill joined CultureIQ as CFO in 2020, bringing a powerful combination of investment banking and technology operations experience to the role. Throughout his career, Bill has both advised and led fast growing technology businesses, primarily in the software sector.

As CFO, Bill has spent the last decade leading private-equity backed SaaS businesses, helping drive ambitious growth paths for firms including ComplySci, Watermark, Workwave, and Mobile Commons, and working with investors such as ParkerGale, Vista Equity Partners, TCV, and EQT. In that time, Bill has led organizations through exponential growth, raised debt and equity, executed and integrated several acquisitions, and completed multiple successful exits for investors.

Bill began his career in investment banking and research with Merrill Lynch, Crusader Securities, and Standard & Poor’s, where he researched and advised on M&A and capital raises for growth technology businesses. During that time, Bill participated in over $1 billion in transactions, ranging from IPOs, M&A, and recapitalizations. Bill’s range of experience spans working with small venture capital-backed startups through large multinational conglomerates.

Bill is a CFA Charterholder, and received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Analytic Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a focus in Computer & Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, as a President’s Scholar.
