Nik Hardy

Nik Hardy currently serves as the Assistant Chief Executive at Cumberland Council, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Nik was with Allerdale Borough Council for eight years, where responsibilities included Assistant Chief Executive (Policy, Performance and Economic Strategy), Head of Strategy, Policy and Performance, and Head of Economic Growth. Earlier experience includes a role as Operational Manager at Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership from June 2014 to March 2015. Nik holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Politics from the University of Liverpool, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
