Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is an accomplished videographer and content coordinator with extensive experience in broadcast media. Currently serving at Cumberland Heights since February 2021, Ryan previously worked as a videographer/editor at WSMV from November 2002 to February 2021, where responsibilities included videography and non-linear editing of news stories, as well as setting up ENG, lighting, and sound for live broadcasts. Ryan's early career included a videographer/editor position at WTOV-TV from April 2000 to September 2002, where similar skills were utilized. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from West Liberty University and a certification in Recording Engineering and Music Production from The Recording Workshop. An Emmy award winner, Ryan possesses a diverse skill set encompassing various technologies and techniques in videography and editing.
