Steven Ramshay

Steven Ramshay is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Cumbria Police since April 2013, Steven has also held the position of Communications Officer within the same organization. Prior to this, Steven worked as a Client Feature Writer at Times & Star and engaged in freelance writing for Local Recruit. Steven's earlier roles include part-time Sales Assistant at Grahams Newsagents and editorial positions at the University of Cumbria, where Steven served as Editor and Reporter for The Informer, enhancing the skills of journalism students. Additionally, Steven contributed to various media outlets including Zoo Magazine, BBC Radio Cumbria, Hexham Courant, and News & Star. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Cumbria.
