Vicki Hepburn-Fish has a strong background in education and leadership. Vicki started their career in 2002 as the Head Teacher of Victoria Infant and Nursery School, where they also served as the Chair of the Cumbria Primary Headteacher Association. In this role, they demonstrated expertise in policy guidance and implementation, involving parents in children's learning, and developing effective leadership teams. Vicki was also responsible for leading whole school assessment and performance tracking, as well as curriculum and environmental design for learning. Additionally, Vicki worked as the Teaching School Lead for the Cumbria West Coast Teaching School Alliance, where they coordinated various initiatives related to professional development, school-to-school support, and research and development. Vicki has a strong belief in collaborative working and sharing best practices among schools.
Vicki Hepburn-Fish received their education as follows:
- In 2013, they attended CEL/ NCTL to train as a Primary Executive Headteacher.
- From 2006 to 2008, they studied at NCSL, specializing in NPQH and PEH.
- Between 1999 and 2002, they pursued a BA Hons QTS degree in Primary Education Advanced Early Years at St Martins University of Lancaster.
- In 1997, they completed a National Diploma (Distinction) in Design and Applied Arts at Cumbria College of Art and Design.
- From 1992 to 1997, they attended Keswick School to study Education.
