Christine E. Marez

Christine E. Marez is a seasoned professional in sustainability and project management, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Sustainability & ESG at Cumming Group, where responsibilities include developing Energy Expenditure Plans for K-12 and Higher Education clients. Christine's prior roles include Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for USGBC California, President and CEO of PMI Consulting Inc., and Inspector General for the Los Angeles Community College District's $7 billion Bond Program. With extensive experience in school construction and modernization projects within the Los Angeles Unified School District, Christine led significant initiatives and developed comprehensive policies. Earlier career positions included project management and engineering roles for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Christine holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, and has a foundational education in Civil and Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
