Brody Snyder

Brody Snyder has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Brody started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Tyler, where they conducted micro-scale chemical reactions and presented their research progress at an ACS conference.

Brody then worked at Ana-Lab Corporation as a Desktop and Application Support specialist, providing remote and on-site support for computer and printer hardware and software issues. Brody also served as an Organic Extractions Chemist, conducting testing for pesticides, herbicides, and semi-volatiles.

After that, Brody joined Advanta Analytical Laboratories as an Analytical Chemist, performing toxicology LC-MS/MS assays on patient urine samples. Brody was later promoted to Laboratory Operations Manager, where they implemented a major materials sourcing change and reduced annual spend by $1.6M.

In their final role at Advanta Analytical Laboratories, Brody became an Analytics and Technology Manager, coordinating the development of a web-based quality control application for LC-MS/MS instruments. Brody also acted as a liaison between scientific and development staff and validated the application.

Currently, Brody is working at Cummings Electrical as a Developer and Information Technology System Administrator. Brody manages a diverse workload comprising end-user tickets, programming projects, and internal strategic initiatives. As one of three Sys Admins supporting a 1500-employee company, they have experience in managing and implementing various Azure services, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, and Office 365.

Brody Snyder obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Management from the University of Texas at Tyler, graduating in 2020. Prior to this, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the same university, completing their undergraduate studies in 2014. Before attending the University of Texas at Tyler, Brody attended Tyler Junior College from 2009 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Brody Snyder obtained the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification in May 2021. Brody also earned the MTA: Database Fundamentals - Certified 2020 certification from Microsoft in May 2020.
