Daniel Carr is a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with over seven years of research experience. Previously a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, they designed human-subject listening studies and engaged in significant digital signal processing work using MATLAB. Daniel's Master’s research focused on models of annoyance to sonic booms, while their Ph.D. research developed models assessing wind noise acceptability in automobiles. Currently, they serve as a Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Technical Specialist at Cummins Inc. and have held a teaching assistant role for various engineering courses.
